Matthew Townsend is Co-founder and Director of the CBLI. He is an English-qualified associate based in the Beijing and Hong Kong offices of the international law firm Fulbright and Jaworski. Matthew’s practice focuses on China-related arbitration and disputes matters. He speaks Mandarin Chinese and is a trustee at London Chinese Radio. Matthew is a frequent writer and commentator on Chinese and international law and business and has been published in English and Chinese in various publications including the Financial Times (Chinese), Asian Legal Business, Legalweek, the China Britain Business Review and Global Arbitration Review.

马成修是中英律师交流协会（CBLI）的共同创办人及理事。马律师是一名获准在英国执业的律师，目前任职于美国富布莱特•贾沃斯基律师事务所北京及香港分所。马律师主要从事与中国相关的仲裁与争议解决业务。他能够讲流利的中文，并且是伦敦华语电台的理事。同时，马律师经常就中国及国际法律与商业问题撰写评论文章，并发表在包括《英国金融时报》（中文版）、《亚洲法律事务杂志》、《法律周刊》以及《中国焦点杂志》等诸多知名中英刊物上。

William Li is a practising English solicitor with London based firm, Marriott Harrison. William advises on startup, private equity investment, IPO's, floatations, public markets, and restructuring. William has strong experience of capital markets transactions, which include assisting on the AIM listings of various Asia based companies. William has a keen interest in Chinese and British relations and regularly takes part in events in the Chinese community in the UK. In addition to his work with CBLI, William is on the executive committee of Chinese Entrepreneurs Global, a non profit organisation aimed at promoting entrepreneurship within the Chinese community in a global context. William speaks fluent English, Cantonese and basic Mandarin.

李文基 (William Li) 为伦敦律师事务所 Marriott Harrison 的执业英国律师。 李律师的执业领域涉及创业期企业、私募股权投资、首轮公开募股、公司上市、公开市场及重组。 李律师在资本市场交易方面具有丰富的经验，曾帮助多家亚洲公司在英国AIM市场上市。李律师对中英关系具有浓厚兴趣，并经常参与华人社团在英国组织的各种活动。 李律师不仅服务于"中英律师交流协会"(CBLI)，而且是"全球华人创业家联盟" Chinese Entrepreneurs Global (CE Global) 执行委员会成员之一。全球华人创业家联盟是一所旨在全球范围的华人团体中提升企业家精神的非营利性组织。李律师的工作语言为英文、粤语及基本普通话。
